“Blair and Abby were the “sisters” I never had but quickly found out that I needed when planning our wedding. Their constant advice, open ears and hearts, and informativeness about the Red Barn Inn and vendors in the Deep Creek area are the three things that stick out to me most. They are also part of such a friendly, loving family that was just the cherry on top.

Blair and Abby got me through body image issues when dress shopping, gave the most precious advice when it came to in-laws, and never failed to remind me of the things that were most important for our day, which was simply me and my now husband. They also were extremely accommodating when made aware of my father in law’s accessibility and health issues, and remained patient through it all.

Blair unfortunately could not be at our wedding, but stayed killing it behind the scenes. She constantly updated our timeline and checked in on us. Abby was our saving grace when outside stressors made us lose sight of our day. She went off book and suggested my husband and I do a first look. In that moment it made everything better. She knew exactly what to say and what to do and I will be forever grateful for her kind heart. She asked me every hour “what do you need? Is there anything I can do?” while she was running around solo, decorating, and coordinating with our numerous vendors which was no easy feat.

Even after meeting Abby for only a few hours, our friends and family soon caught a glimpse of how fortunate we were to work with an amazing gal, and I know they would have felt the same about Blair too.
